Side Pull with Bit - No Reins
Side pull with a bit is the first bridle I use on unbroken colts. This bridle is made of high quality harness leather and stitched. The nose band is a braided leather over a soft core to reduce the possibility of "skinning" the nose. The noseband brings the nose with the pull of the rein, instead of pulling a bit thru the mouth. This specially made sidepull will not roll on the face because of the jaw strap not found on imitations. Made with brow band and throatlatch strap to keep it secure on your horse's head. Reins - Oiled and Split
 
There are no finer reins than these, I guarantee. You'll never use another brand after you've felt these. They are super soft and supple oiled Herman Oak leather reins with hand beveled edges, and water loop tie bit ends. These reins have terrific weight and drape to them, plus they are just like butter in your hands.

They are made in 3 widths: 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4". I recommend the 5/8" for the average size hand. If you have very large hands, you may like the 3/4" rein better. For children, or people with small hands, I would recommend the 1/2" rein. The reins come in two lengths, either 7' or 8' long. Short horses, under 14.1 hands, I would recommend the shorter 7' length. For taller horses, I recommend the 8' length. Please specify the width and length you want.
